Welcome to the 2020-2021 school year!
Hello! My name is Elizabeth Bollinger and I am beginning my 25th year of teaching, and my second year here at St. Charles. I taught 23 years in The Lima City Schools, teaching 4th, 3rd, and 2nd grade. This year I will continue teaching 5th grade reading and language arts, science, and social studies here at St. Charles.
I grew up in Lima and attended St. Rose School and Lima Central Catholic. I graduated from The Ohio State University in 1994 with a Bachelor of Science in Education. I am licenced to teach grades K-8. I also received my Masters Degree from the University of Dayton in 2002.
My husband Mike and I have two children. Our daughter Molly, who is 21, attended and graduated from Shawnee High School. She is currently a junior at Bluffton University, majoring in history and education, with a goal of teaching high school history. She is also a member of the Bluffton softball team. Our son, Jesse, who is 17, attends Lima Central Catholic. He has already completed the early entrance for the United States Air Force and will be leaving shortly after his graduation.
In my spare time, I enjoy reading, attending my daughter's softball games, and watching my favorite sports teams play. I am a huge fan of the Cleveland Indians, The Ohio State Buckeyes, and the Cincinnati Bengals.
I am so grateful to be here at St. Charles Catholic School working with the staff, parents, and most of all the wonderful students here!! I am truly blessed to be a part of this school and parish community!
