Welcome to the 2019-2020 school year!
Hello! My name is Elizabeth Bollinger and I am beginning my 24th year of teaching, but my first here at St. Charles. I have taught the past 23 years in The Lima City Schools, teaching 4th, 3rd, and most recently 2nd grade. I am now teaching 5th grade reading and language arts, science and social studies.
I grew up in Lima and attended St. Rose School and Lima Central Catholic. I graduated from The Ohio State University in 1994 with a Bachelor of Science in Education. I am licenced to teach grades K-8. I also received my Masters Degree from the University of Dayton in 2002.
My husband Mike and I have two children. Our daughter Molly, who is 20, attended and graduated from Shawnee High School. She is currently a sophomore at Bluffton University, majoring in history and education, with a minor in Spanish. She is also a member of the Bluffton softball team. Our son, Jesse, who is 16, attends Lima Central Catholic. He plays baseball, and hopes to join the Air Force after graduation.
In my spare time, I enjoy reading, attending my children's softball and baseball games, and watching my favorite sports teams play. I am a huge fan of the Cleveland Indians, The Ohio State Buckeyes, and the Cincinnati Bengals.
I am so grateful to be here at St. Charles Catholic School working with the staff, parents, and most of all the wonderful students here!! I am truly blessed to be a part of this school and parish community!
