Dear Parents and Students,
Welcome to the 2019-20 school year!
I am very familiar with the Catholic school community as I attended St. Joseph Catholic School and taught there for many years. This is my 10th year at St. Charles but my 28th year of teaching. I am looking forward to teaching 5th grade again this year! I am happy to say that I love working with the wonderful students, parents, and staff here! I am so excited about continuing my career at St. Charles!
I live in Wapakoneta with my wonderful husband, Steve. We have been married for 29 years. We have four children, Emily, Annie, Adam, and Kate, and one grandson (with a granddaughter on the way)! We are parishioners of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Wapakoneta.
Our oldest daughter, Emily, a speech teacher at Celina City Schools, just celebrated her second year wedding anniversary with her husband, Connor Metz. They just had our first grandchild, Lucas James. What an exciting summer it has been with him!
Our second daughter, Annie, a graphic designer in Bryan , Ohio, just celebrated her one year anniversary with her husband, Taylor Frost, in June. I am excited to say that they are having our second grandchild, our first granddaughter, in November! We can't wait!
Our son Adam will be graduating from The Ohio State University in December with a degree in Electrical Engineering and a minor in Business. We are so proud of him!
Our youngest daughter, Kate, will be a junior at Bowling Green State University. She is majoring in Visual Communications Technology while doing a fabulous job as an RA (Resident Assistant) for her second year in a row! So proud of her, too!
I am looking forward to working with you and your child this year and making it a memorable and faith-filled school year!
Mrs. Tonya Henderson
